"There is a Belgian Malinois about four years old possibly hit by a car. They suspect a pelvis break. There is no owner and there is no money—even for an x-ray. Time is running out.

Can Last Chance help him?"
Thanks to your support, we said yes to this request to help Stark. Injured for several days prior to the call, Lisa and Jen started working immediately to set up transport and schedule surgery.

Amanda, our Foster Coordinator, started reaching out to our fosters so that Stark could recover under the care of an experienced volunteer. Naly said yes to fostering him through his recovery. Jamie and Karen started gathering the documentation and information LCAL would need for Stark's arrival, rehabilitation, and adoption.

Many more people from LCAL will be involved before Stark is ready for adoption, and even more will help him recover, assist him with socialization and training, and find him his forever home.

We need your help. Not only to support the long road to recovery that animals like Stark often face, but more importantly we need your help to say "yes" when the call comes in and the question is, "Can Last Chance help him?"
My previous owner could no longer take care of me, but she loves me and even taught me a little Spanish! I have a congenital heart issue and need to keep my activity low, but I mainly just want to snuggle and be with my people.

Don't Miss out! Your chance to buy this unique t-shirt designed by the students at Mission Vista High School's Studio 903 is almost over!

Sunday, February 7th is the last day of our T-shirt Fundraiser. The short sleeve, long sleeve, and hooded long sleeve shirts for men and women are a huge hit.

There are just a few days left. You can donate directly or buy a shirt to to help us cover costs of the basic needs of our dogs and birds. Thank you for your support!
When you gift a shirt to yourself or a loved one, the proceeds will help gift a dog another chance at the life it deserves.

Your purchase will help us rescue, nurture, and carefully rehome the dogs in our care.
Don't want a shirt right now? You can still donate and help us reach our goal of $1,000 this month!

Your donations go directly toward providing food, shelter, medication, and all other needs to our dogs and birds.
