(First day of Fall)
IN SEASONS OF CHANGE
Change and uncertainty are opportunities to build healthy resilience in children. Here's six ways you can help kids navigate the unknown.
Quote of the month: Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems.

You are making a difference!
WE'LL MISS YOU, JANE!
Speaking of people who make a difference . . .
Jane Hazelton retires from Bridges to Growth after 16 years of service!

A special message from Leslie Janca, Chief Executive Officer,
The Georgetown Project

Jane has devoted her heart to our Bridges to Growth center for the past 16 years. She came to us as a volunteer following a long career as media coordinator for the University of Texas at Austin Film Library. She later joined the staff and has been a champion for parents, childcare providers and others caring for young children in Georgetown and across Williamson County. Her undergraduate degree in Radio-Television-Film and Masters Degree in Library & Information Science infused skills that took Bridges to Growth to new heights. Among the most important contributions from Ms. Jane are the thousands of hugs she has given to toddlers and preschoolers coming to the center for Toddler Time, Bilingual Storytime, Creative Kids and Amiguitos. We are so thankful that Jane chose The Georgetown Project for her Second Act. We will miss you Jane…..unless you would like to come back as a volunteer?
