Happy last week of August?! We are rushing forward at lightning speed, which means October’s San Diego Startup Month is coming up quick! You may have heard that six new Entrepreneurs In Residence just started with Startup San Diego. They are busy putting together the month-long event and I hope you’ll join us virtually throughout October. You can also find them on the SD Startup Slack. Virtual events are going to be hot this fall and San Diego event tech companies like Lennd, Virbella, Whova, and Events.com are helping power a lot of them.
The virtualization of everything is accelerating even quicker, which is what we talk about in this week’s podcast with Sam Attisha and Duane Cameron from Cox Business. Cox, a 121-year-old, family-owned business, has invested in many of today’s technologies and it’s interesting to hear how the company’s current investments will come to fruition decades from now - a lot like building a startup and the community around it. Listen in!
Cheers,
