This event is the Clinton Chamber of Commerce 's quarterly luncheon , open to the community as well as Chamber members. These luncheons are a great opportunity to network with area company and organization leaders and hear information about special topics related to the business culture in our wonderful community.

For our March luncheon being held on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at Mississippi College at 11:45 am –the Chamber is welcoming speaker Mary Powers , who is the Workforce Director for the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District (CMPDD) . In line with the Chamber's 2020 theme of "Partners for Progress", Mary will be sharing information regarding all of the resources and initiatives available through the CMPDD's workforce development.

CMPDD provides a variety of services including grant programs, economic development, planning assistance, loan programs, mapping services, workforce development, area agency on aging and Medicaid Waiver program. 

Businesses, employers, job-seekers, educators, and citizens concerned with the future of workforce development in our area will all benefit from the wealth of knowledge Mary will share at this luncheon.

The meal at this event will be provided by Mississippi College , and we are thrilled to offer the following menu for our March luncheon:

  • Strawberry Spinach Salad
  • Pecan Chicken
  • Broccoli
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Rolls and Butter
  • Chocolate Cheesecake
  • Tea, Water, and Coffee

As this is a catered event, reservations are required by noon on Monday, March 2nd to ensure enough food for guests. Tickets are $15 per person to attend.
