We're accepting submissions for a special edition of the Footprint magazine.

In 2023, the Florida Trail will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Florida National Scenic Trail designation. This anniversary edition Footprint will tell the story of the Florida Trail through the decades, including how the trail was routed, managed and maintained, and how the trail has evolved over the years, leading up to the present. We welcome submissions from our dedicated trail community, who experienced this history first-hand. Articles will be due by February 1, 2023. Please pitch ideas before writing articles so we can plan the magazine's content. We are also accepting photographs and artwork. Write to the editor at communications@floridatrail.org
