Sharebrary Item of the Week

Sharebrary: Borrow. Try. Experience.

This week's featured Sharebrary item is our Cassette Tape to MP3 Converter.

If you're of a certain age, you might still have cassette tapes sitting around your house that you'd love to preserve but don't have a tape player anymore.

This handy converter will let you transform an old audiotape into a digital file you can listen to over and over with no degradation of the physical tape.

The carrying bag that comes with it contains the converter, a CD with software, a USB cable, a user's manual, and a foldout sheet with FAQs.

We currently have 34 different items to lend out from our Sharebrary collection.

Thank you to the Wilfred M. Silvia Library Trust for its generous support of the Sharebrary collection.

Check Out Our New Board Games to Borrow

Always wanted to play Ticket To Ride? Pop in and take a look at our new collection of four popular strategy games available to borrow: Risk, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Ticket to Ride: Europe.

Head to the teen area and look above the YA Fiction section. Grab the game box (it'll be empty) and your library card and come see one of our librarians at the Main Desk to check it out. Similar to our children's Funbrary collection, these games can be borrowed for up to one month. Try one out--you'll be sure to have a blast!

If you'd like to take some time to reflect on the year that's just passed before you jump all the way into 2023, here's an article with a long list of the top books of 2022, most of which are available in digital format through the Libby app.

Rather than give you one "Best of" list, the article has links to more than 30 of them so you can pick your favorite media source, library or award panel, and see what they selected as their favorite picks of the prior year.
