FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK
Dear Members, Associates and Friends,
Spring is symbolic of new beginnings, as 2022 unfolds and blossoms, it brings many exciting developments for Allied Artists of America. We have decided to make our 109th exhibition online. The logic and reason for this is to enable artists from far distances to participate at minimal cost, get online exposure and still win awards. There are big plans for a special invitational exhibition at the Butler Institute of American Art for the award winners of the 109th Annual juried exhibition. The invitational will be an actual museum exhibition with award winner's original work. This year there will be a $10,000 purchase award for one artist, whose winning work will join the permanent collection of the Butler Institute of American Art. Our award total is $40,000, a substantial and impressive amount.
Our Associate Online Show will be on display May 15, 2022 - May 15 2024 on our website www.alliedartistsofamerica.org Allied is excited to invite the Grand Prize Winner to exhibit at the Butler alongside the 109th Annual Exhibition Award winners. We thank our Associate Online Show Chair, Annie Patt for organizing this year's amazing show.
Our team here at Allied grows and we would like to welcome Michael Gabriele, Steven Scheuring, and junior board members Eliseea Faur and Anjali Gauld. We look forward to working with them and developing Allied's future goals.
We are always looking for volunteers and prospective board members. This year to thank our team we are inviting our board to exhibit at the Butler Institute alongside the 109th award winners. We could not have this organization without their help and dedication, so this is a well deserved reward.
