Dear Storm'ers,

Wishing you fun and adventure during these glorious summer months! It's admittedly been some time since our last newsletter, so we wanted to check in to let you know how things are looking, leading into the final months before Race Weekend.

Truthfully, there hasn't really been much "newsworthy" to report so far, but with each passing week, things are looking ever more promising for September 24-26. We have three fantastic days planned for you in celebration of our 20th anniversary, and we're eagerly counting down the weeks until we can see you all again!

Our 1st official race update is planned for mid-August, and by that point we should have much more information to share. A second and final update will be released in September. In the meantime, we encourage you to review the racer information package for the course you registered for, available in the "after you register" section of www.stormthetrent.com/register

On this same page, you can also link to the team confirmation list, which provides all the details around which wave and which course you signed up for, whether or not you booked an on-site canoe, and - in case you've forgotten, who your teammates are!

We always welcome questions, and we recognize that it's been a while since registration opened, but please do have a look through the links above to re-familiarize yourselves with the race before contacting us.
FREE Trail Fix Demo Course

Looking to log some good training time? Considering joining us for our entirely free weekend of fully-marked Trail Fix routes, on August 7th and 8th at Albion Hills Conservation Area.

In anticipation of the 2022 re-launch of our Trail Fix event, we're inviting everyone to enjoy a day of great trail running, on a course that will be marked as completely and thoroughly as though it were Race Day. Pre-registration is required, but there are no costs involved outside of the standard Albion Hills park fees.

The course will feature four unique stages ranging in distance between 5km to 7.3km. The total of all four stages combined is an even 25km, over all-trail routes. Maps, elevation profiles and full details are all available at www.trailfix.ca

Join us for a solo run or as a relay team - some are even taking on the 100k challenge of completing all four stages 4 times each. Albion Hills campsite reservations are now open, and there are over 200 serviced and un-serviced sites available throughout the park. Albion is also home to some of the best mountain biking in the province - all the makings for a pretty sweet adventure weekend!
