Worship with us this Sunday!
Sunday, August 15 at 10am

Worship In-Person IN THE SANCTUARY or Facebook Live… or later on YouTube.
Come meet Mary Nelson, our MMSUCC Transitional Conference Minister. She will be here leading worship with Kevin and will facilitate the Speaker Series at 11:15am in the Heritage Room and on Zoom -- an opportunity to get to know her better via a worship debrief and a state of MMS and wider church conversation.
Our scripture is Ephesians 5:15-20 with a sermon entitled ‘A Place for Each, A Place for All’.
Rev. Nelson is a lifelong UCCer and comes to us with a wealth of experience in various settings across the United Church of Christ. Most recently, she served for seven years as a Regional Minister (ACM) in the Connecticut/Southern New England Conference.
Rev. Nelson is originally from Des Moines. She earned her BA at Grinnell College, and her MDiv at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

Livestream worship on designated Sundays. Look under videos for previous livestreamed services.

Ponder
The whole message of the Christian scripture is based in the idea of metanoia, the change of heart that happens when we meet God face-to-face. Even a cursory knowledge of history reveals that Christianity is a religion about change. The Christian faith always changes - even when some of its adherents claim that it does not.
