September 2021
Greetings Bulldogs and Supporters,

Summer flew by for the Boston Bulldogs. We are so grateful to be able to resume weekly runs and Giving Back. September marks Recovery Month and we are ever more mindful of the power of community and wellness in the battle against addiction.

Welcome to new members! We are nearly 400 strong - and continue to meet up at weekly runs in three locations as well as virtually for a number of members across the country. Boston Bulldogs have also been out and about participating in a number of races and events in the past several weeks.

We are so excited about the 2021 Boston Bulldogs Marathon Team, four runners doing the live version and another 10 doing it virtually. This year's team has been training, running and fundraising for the October event. We are just over halfway to our fundraising goal for this year and we'd love your help getting us to 100%. Learn more about the team and support their efforts individually or as a team.

We look forward to keeping our community strong and connected throughout the Fall. Stay tuned to our website and social media for updates and events.

Stay safe and stay well,

The Boston Bulldogs Team

The Boston Bulldogs Giving Back Program

The Boston Bulldogs Giving Back program is a community engagement initiative that was launched in spring 2019 and has since expanded to each of the locations that are home to a weekly run. The program provides clothing, shoes, outdoor gear, refreshment and compassion to individuals who have been impacted by addiction. The Boston Bulldogs make regular visits to recovery programs and shelters to raise awareness about wellness in recovery and invite people to join the Club.

In honor of Recovery Month, the Boston Bulldogs are collecting clothing items for individuals who are currently staying at Father Bill's Shelter in Quincy. Please follow the link to our Amazon Wishlist and be sure to share with others! All items will be delivered to Father Bill's in late October. F

Father Bill's mission is to end and prevent homelessness in Southern Massachusetts with programs that provide emergency and permanent housing and help people obtain skills, jobs, housing, and services. Visit their website to learn more.

Thank you for your support of this important cause.
