Local job finding site launches early to deal with increased demand from job seekers

The Covid-19 crisis has led to a large increase in people looking for work and that has resulted in the early launch of a local job finding website.  Findyourjob.ca is the result of a partnership between local municipal, county and regional partners along with the Workforce Planning Board. It was originally scheduled to launch in the fall but has already launched to help local job seekers find the positions that are available now. The website pulls jobs from a variety of provincial, national and local sites and collects them all in one place. The site features a job board, a job mapping function and includes resources to support job seekers, such as childcare and school locations, Employment Ontario sites, transit routes, as well as information to support job seekers as they search in this physical distancing environment.

Twice a week you can receive the latest postings to findyourjob.ca by joining the mailing list. You can click here to register.

The Findyourjob.ca initiative is a partnership between The Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin, Dufferin County, Wellington County, City of Guelph and Region of Waterloo
