Dear IEA Members and Friends,
With all the pandemic-related setbacks of the last 6 months, we are THRILLED to be back doing what we love best - watching young riders excel in the show ring and learn valuable equestrian and life skills that will help them succeed way beyond their IEA years. We always knew our members were dedicated, resilient, and professional and we are so grateful for everyone's efforts to help IEA continue providing opportunities for equestrian sport in a safe and responsible manner.
Our 2020-2021 season officially kicked off on August 1st and Hunt Seat and Dressage shows have been successfully happening in many areas across the nation and our first Western shows begin this weekend. We know there is a learning curve with all the additional safety precautions required as we maneuver as a country through the pandemic. We see your efforts and we are both proud and hopeful that we can continue to set the bar high in following these important safety standards. If you have any questions about attending or hosting shows, please refer to the IEA COVID-19 RESOURCE HUB for the most updated information, guidelines, and best practices.
Membership Season is in full swing and while there are technically two months before the NOVEMBER 1st TEAM MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE, we encourage teams to sign up now in order to get your fall shows underway before the weather gets too cold. Outdoor shows are the most ideal, whenever possible.
As always, we love seeing your photos and videos around the barn, at shows, and with your favorite IEA friends and horses. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter @rideiea and #rideiea for the most up-to-date news and events. Enjoy these recently posted images from some of our teams that have started their IEA season.
