Chronicling women’s struggle for the right to the vote from the mid-19th century to 19th Amendment's ratification, this temporary exhibit draws parallels to the ongoing fight for women’s equality continuing today.
Women Inspire: California Women Changing Our World
Opens Nov. 5, 2020

Developed with First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom, this new long-term exhibit features more than 250 Golden State women from the 1700s to the present inspiring change and reflection on the ongoing struggle for equality.
Yosemite People
Nov. 5, 2020 - Jan. 17, 2021
This traveling photography exhibit chronicles the people who live, work and visit Yosemite National Park in recognition of the historic site’s 130th anniversary in 2020. Developed by Exhibit Envoy and photographer Jonas Kulikauskas, “Yosemite People” offers visitors a unique look at the complex and contradictory relationships between the park’s natural wonders and its inhabitants.

California's Journey Virtual Tour

Ideal for 3rd-9th grade students, this virtual program features a video tour and digital artifact kit, followed by a Zoom-based presentation on a variety of Gold Rush stories and a post-tour oral history project.
Unity Center Virtual Tour

Designed to increase engagement in democracy, this program for 3rd-12th grade distance learning students features an overview of activism in California through a video tour, Zoom presentation and post-tour project.
