Nestled on the shores of Laurel Lake, in the shadows of Mount Monadnock, sits pristine Fleur de Lis Camp, an overnight summer camp for girls, ages 8-17. Since 1929, Fleur de Lis has been providing joy, belonging and friendship to generations of girls seeking a place to unwind from the sometimes hectic pace of life and immerse themselves in the beauty and fresh air of New Hampshire.
What you won’t find at Fleur de Lis is intense training in any particular sport, rigid schedules or a place where peers are encouraged to compete against or pressure one another. The moment you step foot on our campus, you’ll notice you’ve arrived at a safe, nurturing place: Cozy porches where girls gather to finger knit, laugh and bond; spacious dining hall for sharing delicious food and singing fun, camp-themed songs, and a waterfront bespeckled with canoes, sailboats and paddleboards, laughter echoing clear across the lake.
Quite simply, we provide a place where kids can slow down, nurture deep friendships and discover their authentic selves. A place where a girl’s success is measured not by points scored or popularity but by the size of their smile. After all, sometimes kids need a space where they can just be . . . kids.
