Parents,

We look forward to having Group A back on Monday, Nov. 2nd and Group B on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd! Below are a few reminders!

  • Please be sure to send your student with a full water bottle everyday they are at school. Our drinking fountains are disabled due to Covid, but we do have our water bottle filler stations available. The office has given out many water bottles over the last few days and we are out!

  • If you drop your student off in the morning after 8:26 and there are no adults on the sidewalks, please send your student to the main entrance. All other doors will be locked.

  • The weather is getting chilly and we are doing our best to get your students outside for masks breaks. Please make sure your child wears layers.

  • We have received a few questions this week regarding when parents will be notified of positive COVID cases. Any quarantines of probable or positive cases will be posted on the PCS COVID-19 dashboard within 24 hours of us getting the information. Parents will only receive a letter/email if a student or staff member attended school during their infection period and then tested positive. 

I would like to thank all of the parents that are being honest and vigilant to keep their families safe, it is greatly appreciated!

Cooper Parent Club
2020-2021 Fundraiser
Cooper Families,

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the Cooper Parent Club is limited in the types of fundraisers and incentives we can offer.  Homeschooling through the quarantine was hard on everyone but Cooper Elementary staff did their very best to teach our students in a world no one saw coming.  They now continue to do whatever they can to lead our students to the very best of their abilities.  

So for this fundraiser, we are simply asking for a donation. No “free” t-shirt, running, magazines, or wrapping paper involved. While you won’t be receiving anything in response, 100% of your donation will be used to support our faculty in buying supplies for their classroom, providing a scholarship opportunity to Cooper’s Plainwell High School Seniors, hosting the 5thgrade dessert, and many other forms of support.  

Please consider supporting the parent club with your donation and help us support our students and faculty.  Our goal this year is $12,000 by November 16th, which works out to about $45 per student.  A gift of any size is greatly appreciated. If we reach $6,000 the students will receive a donut day, and if we reach our full goal of $12,000 our students will all have a pizza party. Please feel free to share this link with any friends or family near and far that love a Cooper student.

Annual Infinite Campus Online Registration

Plainwell Community Schools has a new procedure we are rolling out. Below is a PDF of DIRECTIONS for parents to update their information for their students on Infinite Campus by using Parent Portal. This is a once a year request and will take the place of the census sheets that are sent home every year at the beginning of the year.

We know the term registration may be confusing, we are thinking of it as an annual registration or annual update. It's just what Infinite Campus calls it.

In order to access this, parents will have to have a parent portal account username /password. Click Here if you need help accessing your account. All we need is one parent in the family/household to complete this task.

Just remember, Parent Portal is just your way of having access into Infinite Campus. Infinite Campus is a database of all our student information.
