Rogers Memorial Library Joins GMILCS

The Rodgers Memorial Library (RML) in Hudson has joined GMILCS Inc., a nonprofit consortium of public and academic libraries in New Hampshire that provides shared resources and experiences to Merrimack Public Library cardholders!

RML Director Linda Pilla is looking forward to merging the 45,000 items in RML’s local collection with the 1.4 million titles in the GMILCS consortium's shareable collection.
Random Acts of Kindness Kits Now Available

The Merrimack Public library celebrates kindness this week with our Random Acts of Kindness Kits! These kits include sticky notes and chalk to leave uplifting messages, sunflower seeds to plant your own rays of sunshine, and more!

Our Random Acts of Kindness Kits will be available at our Reference Desk while supplies last.

This Month

This month we celebrate National Library Week with our display of books and movies that take place in a library setting, including The Library of the Unwritten by AJ Hackwith and season one of the The Librarians.

In our Laugh Out Loud display, you'll find amusing reads like Dear Girls by Ali Wong and Binge by Tyler Oakley.
Also on display this month is our curated list of Stories About Siblings! This display includes titles like The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin and The Lost Man by Jane Harper.

Resident Fast Facts

The results of the Town of Merrimack 2022 election have been released! Voters approved the town budget and wastewater project, but rejected $3M for drainage and road repairs to the Woodland Drive area. Congratulations to those elected to town offices; Merrimack looks forward to working with you!

The Merrimack Police and Fire Departments will host a Child Car Seat Inspection and Installation event this Wednesday, April 20th, from 5pm to 7pm at the Central Fire Station on 432 Daniel Webster Highway. Please email carseats@merrimacknh.gov to make an appointment for this appointment-only event.

The Merrimack Public Works Department began the 2022 Townwide Paving Program this past Thursday, April 14th. Paving will take place through the week of April 25th, though the paving schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.
