Did You Know: Don't blow/rake leaves into drains
As leaves begin to fall in your yard, please be mindful in how you get rid of them. Please do not blow or rake leaves or lawn clippings into storm drains as they can clog drains and lead to flooding. Please remember: storm drains lead to our watersheds, streams, rivers, and lakes.
City Code (Section 109-56) states: “No person shall throw, drain or otherwise discharge, cause, or allow others under its control to throw, drain, or otherwise discharge into the City of Johns Creek separate storm sewer system any pollutants or waters containing any pollutants, other than stormwater.”
