September 2021 Children's Ministry Updates
Parents,

Thank you for your prayerful input on your children’s ministry survey. I am excited about partnering together this year!

Ready, set, go!

Sunday Morning Bible Study and Wednesday Nights are going strong. It is exciting to see kids back. Thank you for helping your child to remember to bring their Bible each week. We have a Bible reading plan for school-age kids. Children have from September 1-December 1 to complete their sheet. It is so important to spend time daily in God’s word. Several of you mentioned that you pray that your child will love to read Scripture – me too! Pick up a printed copy at church or get it online here.

Read below for some things that you can look forward to this month at MBBC!

I'm praying for you! Have a great week!

Children's Ministry Survey Feedback

Thank you, everyone, who has returned your children’s ministry survey.
To date, here is what you have told me:

Your child is growing in his/her faith. Praise God! We are blessed to have adults who love your child and are faithful to teach about Jesus.

Many of you want your child to want to read his or her Bible and to love God’s word. Parents of older children want their children to be comfortable
sharing their faith.

Many of you are praying for your family to be healthy and have a good school year.
VBS will be July 11-15. And, Family Night WILL be back!

Many want their kids to go to Camp Chandler. HOLD July 24-28 but camp is still working on their calendar.

You are interested in a family camp experience and want to utilize one of the school holidays (Columbus Day, MLK, President’s Weekend, or Spring Break).

Preteen Mystery Trip – HOLD June 1 & 2. May 25 & 26 (second choice)

Family Mission Trip – HOLD July 18-25 and many are willing to help
with a weekend experience.

If you haven’t had a chance to return the children’s ministry survey, it’s not too late! Visit the link below to complete the survey.
Preschool Worship for 3K-5K Kids
Worship Care Volunteers are needed. Children 3K-5K are going to worship with parents. After the children’s sermon (or designated time), children meet Sharon in the Narthex for children’s worship. Volunteers have been doing a skit and Bible story with the children in the Chapel. Parents are needed to keep children the remaining time, along with volunteers to help with babies and to serve as floaters. Sign up below!
