Mark your calendar for Rapid Fire Research, a showcase of student research ideas Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. in LSB 133. Undergrads and grad students are invited to apply to present by Oct. 30. Hear scholars from diverse disciplines describe innovative ideas – in four minutes with four slides! All are welcome.

‘Chemical Commuters’ Oct. 21

Science Unwrapped, the college’s public outreach program, welcomes USU environmental chemist Kimberly Hageman as featured speaker Friday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. in ESLC 130. Inquiring minds of all ages are welcome to this free event, which includes post-talk learning activities. David Brown is Honors ‘Last Lecture’ Speaker Oct. 25

All are invited to USU’s 47th Annual Honors Last Lecture, Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 3-4 p.m. in the Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall. Featured speaker is 2022 Honors Outstanding Professor David Brown of Mathematics and Statistics, who presents “Our Sixth Sense: Math.”

EXPLORE: Teaching Excellence

We congratulate the college’s most recent recipients of USU’s ‘A’ Pin, one of the university’s oldest and most prestigious academic honors for undergraduates. Honorees have earned 4.0 GPAs, while undertaking at least 15 graded credit hours for two consecutive semesters.
