Xaverian Missionaries Announce the Ordination of Pietro Rossini, sx, to the Deaconate

SAINT MARY’S CHURCH – HOLLISTON, MASSACHUSETTS – USA

On Saturday, January 7 (Epiphany), our confrere Pietro Rossini will be ordained Deacon by Bishop Robert Reed, Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Boston.

Email for more information.

Brother Pietro Rossini arrived in our community of Holliston, Massachusetts, in 2019 to begin a master’s program in journalism. Br. Pietro is part of a project to create an international media team that evangelizes the “sixth continent” of multimedia in all its forms in all the places worldwide where the Xaverian Missionaries work.

He will be ordained a deacon at our local parish of St. Mary’s Parish in Holliston on the Feast of the Epiphany, Saturday, January 7, 2023. We wish him God’s everlasting blessings as he embarks on a new creative mission in the church today.

“Twitty makes the case that Blackness and Judaism coexist in beautiful harmony, and this is manifested in the foods and traditions from both cultures that Black Jews incorporate into their daily lives…Twitty wishes to start a conversation where people celebrate their differences and embrace commonalities. By drawing on personal narratives, his own and others', and exploring different cultures, Twitty’s book offers important insight into the journeys of Black Jews.”—Library Journal
