Ethnic Studies Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

On Fri, March 31, 12 - 4 PM in the Barnett Center Collaboratory, the Center for Ethnic Studies and The Humanities Institute will host a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon, with support from the Ohio Wikimedians User Group.
Participants will have the chance to contribute to Wikipedia, especially in topics related to Asian American Studies, American Indian Studies, Latinx Studies, and other articles pertaining to ethnicity. No prior Wikipedia editing experience required, but please bring your own laptop. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Submit a proposal for an Engagement Grant
|
The Office of Outreach and Engagement is seeking proposals from faculty and/or faculty-led teams, and university staff that hold PI status, for the 2023 Engagement Grants. Grants will be awarded at a maximum amount of $20,000 to support development of impact reports for programs, performances or exhibits; development of a public policy document or impact report; development or implementation of a program, performance, exhibition, or initiative based upon previous research, assessment, or public input; or enhance or expand a program that extends community access to the university.

Quechua Alliance Annual Meeting
|
Since 2015, the Quechua Alliance’s Annual Meeting has been a vibrant and multigenerational space for the exchange of ideas between Quechua speakers, community leaders, college students, and educators who share an interest and passion for Quechua language and Andean culture.
On April 1, 2023 (9:30am - 6:30pm) the Quechua Alliance will hold its first in-person meeting since 2019, when it was hosted by Ohio State. This year's meeting will take place at Harvard University.
The event is open to the public, registration is free ($10 donation suggested), and no previous knowledge of Quechua is required to participate. Register to attend here.
