Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year

I wish to welcome you back as we prepare for our full transition into the new 2021-22 school year. As we reach for the stars in areas of service, innovation, and empowerment throughout these ever-shifting and tumultuous days of pandemic uncertainty, I challenge each of us to model the orange frog happiness advantage within a consistent culture of kindness and leadership. Positivity is motivational, kindness is free, and happiness is contagious. Creating positive, authentic experiences are the very cornerstones of service and leadership that we provide at Saginaw ISD. As a team, we are the collective authors of “Our Story,” and our intentional interactions are key components to building trusting, healthy relationships that
ultimately enhance experiences for those we serve throughout our servant leadership.

These are the most difficult days that students and educators have ever experienced in modern educational history. Together, we are charged to provide our great service, with the gold standard of customer service, to those in our community who are counting on us most with grace, compassion, and competence - After all, “this is what we do.” I am honored to stand with you and serve our students, colleagues, staff, families, and community throughout our region.

In honor of all you do, please enjoy our CTE Department's newest video titled, Teacher's Change the World. It is my pleasure to welcome you back to a new school year!

Yours in Education,
Jeffrey Collier, Superintendent
