Get Out and Vote! *
Thomas Jefferson made the critical importance of voting to democracy clear when he said, "We do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate.” Take those words to heart and vote, and encourage others to vote! There is still time for early voting and, of course, you can get out on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
The Children's Trust is here to support the most basic of democratic principles with its Civic Engagement page that contains helpful information on the Nov. 3 election and its Civics for Kids page, which offers resources for kids to make sense of the upcoming election.
