Encourage One Another

I see it sometimes in the smallest things, like in a text, prayer, bringing a produce box to a neighbor's house, in a simple invitation to attend church with you, or just in your normal daily speech. It is such a joy to see God using you to Live Love and encourage others. I love the simple truth in Hebrews 3:13 "But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin's deception." Our world is full of division, hate, and jealously. Yet God wants His people to be encouragers. God wants to use you to help others who are having a bad day, in a hard season, or are just simply struggling. I believe encouragement is a choice. We choose to be a help or a hinderance to others. I desperately want God to use us to help others. May God bless you greatly as you remind others of God's promises, God's presence, and God's gospel. We don't always know how God uses our encouragement in other's lives; but He does use it. I recently got an e-mail from someone I ministered to over 15 years ago. At that time, I would have told you that I didn't make any difference or impact in his life. I tried; but it didn't feel like I accomplished anything. And yet according to his email; God used it. This man is now saved, led his family to be saved, and is a lay pastor at his church! We never know how God will use us; but He will. In this crazy season, may be we encouragers, grace givers, and gospel sharers!!
So thankful for you,
Pastor Sammy

We are limiting our lunch to only 35 individuals in our Connection Point in order to provide social distancing between the tables. If you feel comfortable, we would love for you to Sign-up at Sign-up Central for ONE of our noon lunch times: September 22, October 1, or October 13.  We hope you enjoy lunch with your friends!
Quarterly Business Meeting
Sun., Sept. 6 at 7PM

Due to COVID, we have missed our regular quarterly business meeting. Join us on Sunday, September 6, after the evening service to help us navigate through this season. The Nominating Team will supply a list of teachers, teams, and officers to be voted on for the upcoming church year (Sept 2020-August 2021).  Due to the uniqueness of this season, you will notice that for most positions we have asked for individuals to simply add a year to their term. We will also vote on a nomination to add a year to the deacons term and reactivate two inactive deacons: Steve Neal and Dennis Followell. We will also vote on a Discipleship Pastor search team. We've got a lot of business to take care of. I hope you can be in attendance.
