“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always be where you’ve always been.” —T.D. Jakes

We are forming a parent, teacher and stakeholder group to set goals for improving our school. Would you like to be a part of this group? We will meet via Zoom at a time which is convenient to the group. This group will be limited to 10 individuals. Please click below if you would like to participate.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
This month we look to those practical exercises that allow the child to learn and master everyday skills and give the child confidence and gain independence. Studies show that the children who are relaxed and happy learn more easily that those who are feeling anxious or stressed. During the time of the pandemic, we want to be sure to offer the child an opportunity to learn by doing. We know the child needs movement, as this is the way the young child develops. The more active and involved they are, the more likely they are to be engaged and interested. Know that the child may want to repeat an activity often, as this is a way that the child creates him or herself. Let us explore the rooms of a home to see how they might serve the child. The ideas shared here are not comprehensive, but simply a place to begin.

Tax Statements are available by accessing your online account and printing a statement. If you need us to print one for you, please let the office know or sign up here. Please give 2-3 days for processing your request.

Student Registration for 2021-2022!
Student Registration
Registration packets will be coming home today for current families to register. Our current families may register current students as well as incoming students for next year at a discounted registration fee rate of $50. This lower registration fee will be valid through 2/16//21. Registration opens to the public on 2/17/21. At that point, the registration fee returns to $100 for all students. If your family utilizes PFCC/JFS benefits, the registration fee is covered by that program. If you are applying for an Early Childhood Education Grant (see below), the registration fee may be waived based on the sliding fee scale for that program.
ODE Early Education Grants
We are fortunate enough to have Ohio Department of Education Grants which allow children who meet requirements to attend school at a free or reduced cost. Students must reside in Ohio, be 4 years old on Oct. 1, 2021 and the family must meet the financial qualifications based on family size. It is important to note that spots are limited and applications must be complete in order to process. Grant applications will be accepted starting 2/1/21. Applications can be found outside of the school office on the bench. Please be sure to submit all items requested including a copy of the child's birth certificate (unless it is already on file here), proof of income as indicated on directions and the last four digits of your child's social security number. Please contact the office for any questions.
