Downtown McHenry Holiday Walk
Saturday, November 20

McHenry’s downtown stores come to life with magical scenes of the season! Enjoy the live mannequins, lights, carolers, decorations, trolley and much more.
Join us for a fun filled day of events, including holiday shopping, tree lighting, kids' activities, live mannequin window displays and a Polar Express Pub Crawl!
Festival of Trees
November 20 - December 4

Sponsor and decorate a 7 ft. artificial tree (only $100) to be displayed at Hidden Pearl for 2 weeks beginning with the Downtown McHenry Holiday Walk. Trees can be decorated in any style that best represents you or your organization. Attendees vote by placing non perishable food and toiletries beneath their favorite trees. All donations will go to Veteran's Path to Hope.

MCC Workforce Training Offers Manufacturing Boot Camps for New Hires, Workers in Need of Skill Enhancement
What: Develop the skills needed for a successful career in manufacturing with a series of Manufacturing Boot Camps offered through McHenry County College’s Workforce Training program.
Ideal for new hires or employees who need additional training, the Boot Camp series will help expand knowledge and technical abilities with an emphasis in either CNC or welding.
The Boot Camp is a strategic progression of classes that includes: Communication and Listening Skills; OSHA 10-Hour; Shop Math; Forklift Operator Training; Blueprint Reading and Measurement; and Introduction to Lean Manufacturing. Attendees then either progress on to Introduction to CNC or Introduction to Welding, depending upon their chosen track. The program costs $1,980.
When: Fridays from 8 a.m. – Noon, November 15, 2021, to April 29, 2022

Trunk or Treat Event
What: Come participate in our Trunk or Treat event. Sat October 30th from 12pm-3pm at Mchenry East Campus! We are looking for businesses who want to participate!
