School lunch is offered on Mondays (Chick-fil-a) and Fridays (Papa John's). Follow the link below to select a lunch plan.
BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL CARE
If you will be needing Before and/or After School Care for your student, please sign up now using the link below.
All fees for lunch and Before/After School Care will be billed through FACTS. Please contact Renee Lindsey with any questions regarding billing.
HIGH SCHOOL PARENT/STUDENT MEETING
Tuesday August 10, 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Harris will be hosting a meeting in the library/makerspace for all high school students and parents/guardians. The purpose of the meeting is to:
  • Find out about the School to Work Program at Summit Academy
  • Meet the Path Forward of Kentucky team to discuss potential job coaching, and
  • Register/discuss options, and meet the representative from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR)

Masks will be required when indoors. Please contact Mr. Harris ([email protected]) if you are able to attend.

PARENTING THE STRONG-WILLED CHILD
Parenting a strong-willed child can be both rewarding and challenging. In this presentation behavior analyst Christy Justice will review common challenges of strong-willed children and provide practical parenting techniques that can be applied daily.

LUNCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are in need of volunteers to help distribute lunch and monitor students during lunch periods on Mondays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If you are available and would like to help, please let us know by replying to this email or call the front desk at 244-7090.
18TH ANNUAL MOUNTAINTOP BREAKFAST
Planning is underway for our largest fundraiser of the year, the Mountaintop Breakfast! This year's event will take place on Thursday, October 21 at 8:00 a.m. at The Olmsted. We are currently seeking Table Captains and Sponsors for this important event. Contact David Payne for more information.

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES
  • Temperatures should be taken prior to leaving your home
  • If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home
  • Masks should be worn indoors, except when eating lunch or directed by their teacher
  • Teachers will extensively review mask, hygiene and spacing expectations
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be used throughout the day
  • Lunch will be held in the cafeteria with limited and assigned seating per table
  • No microwaves available
  • Water bottles to be brought daily by students as fountains will be closed
