Vacation Bible School
What an incredible week of VBS: TREASURED Discovering You're Priceless to God! Throughout the week there were numerous God Sightings, from the smiles and the laughter to the listening and the learning, the kids and volunteers had a memorable week.
What a fabulous VBS Staff. They continually went the extra mile to make sure each child had a terrific VBS experience. A huge thank you to each staff member! A huge thank you for each VBS donation that our wonderful church family so graciously gave! And a huge thank you to every one who gave to the Wellspring of Life Honduras Mission Project! We collected $1,300.00! Learn more about the Wellspring of Life Honduras Mission.
And most of all, we thank God
because we know He made it all possible.

New Tuesday Morning Group Study starting later in August
Please join us for The Me I Want to Be: Becoming God’s Best Version of You, by John Ortberg. Ortberg shares the glory and power of the gospel, when he says, “God’s vision for your life is not that you are saved by grace, but that you also learn to live by grace, flourishing with the spirit flowing through you”. This 6-week book and video study will be starting later in August at 10:00am, (Watch for the actual start date.) The group will meet in room 123 and be led by Patricia Hamilton. Please use the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Place on the bulletin board or simply reply to this email that you wish to attend. Hope to see you there!!

Another Church Outreach
You may have seen the signs in the yard on Sunday morning or the food van throughout the week. Manatee Schools asked to use the church parking area as a food distribution site for families with kids. During the summer when kids don't have access to free or reduced cost lunches at school, Manatee Schools provide lunches each weekday for the kids.
This was a great way for PUMC to partner with the community to help out families with feeding their kids.If you had to work around the food van this summer, thank you for your patience!
