A Message From the Grand Knight
Greetings Brothers,

As we approach the Lenten season, Jesus calls us to a conversion of heart, to strive to pattern our lives after the life of Christ through intense prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

As we prepare ourselves, assuring the fruitfulness of this holy season, call to mind this poignant Bible verse:

"Even now, says the Lord, return to me with your whole heart, with fasting, and weeping, and mourning. Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the Lord, your God." (Joel 2:12-18)

I ask that you also please continue to keep Charles Giles in your prayers as he recovers from the coronavirus and underlying lung issues.

K of C Coats for Kids Program
District Deputy Carl R. Williams Jr., PGK and Grand Knight Steve Merschen, on behalf of our Council, donated 48 new children’s coats though the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids Program to Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster, NY for distribution at an upcoming pantry event.

Council 486 held their Installation of Officers for 2020-2021 on Saturday, November 14, at St. Joseph's Church. Family members proudly watched as nine council members were installed during the ceremony led by District Deputy, Carl Williams, PGK and Council Chaplain, Rev. Dennis Nikolic.
