Freshmen: Apply to be a Freshman Guide!
|
Freshman Guides allow 7th and 8th grade students to shadow them for a day at SJ as they explore their high school options. Visiting students accompany Freshman Guides to class and lunch as Freshman Guides share their own St Joe’s experience in a responsible, positive, and professional manner. Join the team and build your college resume while learning new communication and organization skills. You can also earn 2 community service hours each semester!
Freshman Guides will be selected on September 18. We will notify your coach if being selected interferes with your fall sport practice or team meeting.

CIAC Guidelines
On Thursday, August 20, the CIAC met with the CT Department of Public Health. The meeting allowed the CIAC to better understand the change in the DPH's recommendations for interscholastic athletics. While discussions are still being held, the CIAC has decided to delay the first date for all fall sports to Saturday, August 29. They will also update all schools once conditioning workouts are allowed to resume.
Try-Outs
As of now, official try-outs will be held beginning Friday, September 11 and will be up to 2-hour sessions. Try-out times and information will be posted on our website here as soon as we have all necessary information. If you plan to try out for one of our Fall teams and have not yet made contact with the head coach, please do so to ensure that you are added to any communication. Contact information for our Head Coaches can be found at the try-outs link above.
