Join NJHSA in an
Internal Inventory of
Mental Health & Wellness Services Supporting
Children, Adolescents Young Adults and their Parents

The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies, in partnership with the Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Funder Collaborative and Jewish Federations of North America, is leading the Resiliency Roundtable initiative to bridge the gap between Jewish education and engagement work and to address the mental health and wellness needs of the Jewish community. This project plans to train up to 1,000 professionals who engage with Jewish youth (ages 12-22), so that they are more aware of mental health concerns and are better able to connect individuals and families to needed services.

With that goal in mind, it is important to better understand the services that Network member agencies are able to provide to children, adolescents, young adults and their parents. To support this internal inventory, the Network has engaged Tricia Stern, LCSW, MPH to develop and implement a survey to learn of clinical programs and services administered by Network agencies that are designed to serve these target populations.

The link to the survey is here.

Please ask the lead professional responsible for these service areas to complete the survey to provide information about your agency’s service delivery for these specific populations.

The survey will be open for responses through Friday, February 19, 2021.

If your agency is not providing services to any of the target groups, it would still be beneficial to complete the survey as it will help us to better determine the needs of communities and any gaps in services.

The survey also asks if any agency staff member is trained as a facilitator for Youth Mental Health First Aid to gather possible facilitators for these trainings.

Once the survey data is completed, the findings will be compiled, and a Report will be shared with Network agencies.

Please feel free to reach out to Tricia Stern with any questions.

Thank you for your participation in helping the Network to better understand the mental health and wellness service provision landscape for children, adolescents, young adults and their parents.
