HELP TRANSGENDER WOMAN IN INDIA
RWF provides important financial support to the Rainbow Home of the Seven Sisters, a shelter and community center for the marginalized Hijira/kinner (transgender) community, in the Joypur area of Guwahati, Assam. In India, most transgender people endure deep prejudice and open hostility. Many are rejected by family and are forced to leave home. Transgender woman face severe employment discrimination and in desperation many beg or are forced into survival sex work.

At Seven Sisters, the women are able to bond, support one another, organize, and begin to heal. The women receive emergency housing, psychological support, and vocational skills training. The home was opened 18 months ago and has already served over 400 women. Many of the women have been able to leave survival sex work and become self-sufficient.

Help transgender women in India achieve hope, safety, and dignity - please donation today! Select "Transgender Aid Fund" when asked how to designate your donation online or when you mail a donation to Rainbow World Fund, 4111 - 18th Street #5, San Francisco, CA 94114. 100% of your donation will go to help these brave women.
WORLD TREE OF HOPE: TELL US YOUR WISH
Be a part of this unique symbol of global unity! Throughout December we will be adding wishes to the 17th annual RWF World Tree of Hope at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. All of the origami cranes on the tree are inscribed with wishes, hopes, and prayers for the future. Please add your wish to the tree, it'll be printed, folded into a crane, and placed on the tree. Adding a wish is FREE and open to all.

The tree is RWF's gift to the world and reflects our philosophy of building bridges and sharing the message that we are all one human family.
