In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, your safety is our top priority. The university has taken many measures to promote social distancing, including in classrooms and gathering places like the Rhatigan Student Center. Surfaces are being disinfected daily. But it’s also up to each individual to take precautions such as consistent hand washing, following proper social distancing guidelines and staying home if you feel sick. In accordance with the current Sedgwick County mandate, face coverings are required in all public places, which includes the Wichita State campus.
As you are purchasing your school supplies, don't forget to include face coverings, hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes. There will be a limited supply of free cloth face coverings at the Shocker Support Locker, Ablah Library, Rhatigan Student Center Information Desk, Shocker Hall front desk and The Suites front desk.
