AD and allergy testing
The Canadian Skin Patient Alliance is looking to collect patient feedback to better understand eczema and allergy testing. The survey project, led by Dr. Aaron Drucker, would like to have patients’ feedback as part of its research project planning.
The Canadian Skin Patient Alliance (CSPA) is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people in Canada impacted by skin disorders. We provide education, raise awareness, support skin research and work with other organizations throughout the country to improve the health of skin patients.
The CSPA is looking for adults (people aged 18+) who have atopic dermatitis (eczema) to provide feedback on the survey before the questionnaire is used in the study. To collect patient feedback on the survey, we will be collecting feedback by email and conducting small group discussions. If you would like to participate in the discussion, please provide us with your name and contact information so that we can set a date for the group discussion, and if you’d prefer to give feedback via email, please let us know and they’ll follow up with the details. If you do go with the email option, you’ll be provided with the questionnaire to read on your own and can email us your thoughts on each part of the survey. You can email us with any questions that you may have. In the group discussion, we’ll go through the questions with you and you can address any questions about the survey you may have with us during the conversation.
Patient input is important to research projects because it helps to ensure that the things that are most important to patients are addressed. Your participation allows for patient voices to be heard in the work being conducted in eczema research, with the goal of ultimately improving patient care.

The CSPA is looking forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
Help us reach our goal!
As you know, we are soon launching the EczemaQ app, an informative app that will help people with eczema, but we need your help to raise the necessary funds to set it up.
We have set up a donations page in partnership with the MUHC Foundation.
