Zebrafish to the Core

The University of Utah Zebrafish Core Facility

The Centralized Zebrafish Animal Resource (CZAR) facility at the University of Utah provides the space and systems for researchers to house, breed, and perform experiments on zebrafish.  Recently, Aquaneering installed a 200 GPM Central Filtration System at the Core Facility, which included fluidized bed biofilters, two kinds of backwashing filters, and state-of-the-art monitoring and chemical dosing systems.

Calvin Javier and Jimmy Williamson man the booth
The Aquaneering booth was as busy as a coral reef at the 2016 Marine Aquarium Conference of North America in San Diego this past weekend.  Conference attendees appreciated the professional, lab-grade quality systems and tanks that Aquaneering offers for ornamental fish and coral aquaculture.
The new Coral Propagation Rack, was a hit with attendees who agreed that it was the "coolest thing at the show."

Customers with new or established systems were also very interested in the Aquaneering aquaculture tanks because they said that the tanks were better suited to coral propagation.

Thank you to Reefers Garage of Vista, California for supplying the beautiful coral in the Coral Propagation System.
