INVITATION TO FOL WCC SPECIAL TRIBUTE....
"Dr. M L King's Last Stand on April 4th in Memphis, Tenn.
was with Black City Sanitation Workers Strike!"
He was murdered by U.S. White supremacy and the U.S. government's repression...Counter Intelligence Program aka CO INTEL PRO while supporting Black workers' human Rights.

On Monday, 6 pm April 4, 2022 the Fruit of Labor World Cultural Center ( 4200 Lake Ridge Drive, Raleigh) is hosting a brief 25-minute Documentary film and participatory discussion with readings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s April 4, 1967 seminal speech “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence.”

YOU ARE INVITED TO STOP BY (in our COVID safe space with your mask) FOL WCC to pick up your own copy of Dr. King's last testament...the book "TRUMPETS OF CONSCIENCE".

On April 4, 1967, exactly one year before his tragic assassination, in his prophetic speech “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence,” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. named the United States Government as the greatest purveyor of violence in the world.
In the speech, King taught that capitalism, militarism and imperialism were the main evils in the world. Our greatest hope and best tool to bring about the changes we seek is our organizing workers, the exploited, oppressed and the poor. King’s speech laid bare the oppressive relationship between U.S. wars abroad and white supremacy/racism and poverty being challenged by our social justice movement at home in the U.S.
Celebrate Earth Day & Learn to Grow Your Own Food
The Fruit of Labor World Cultural Center’s Community Solidarity Garden Club will celebrate Earth Day and sponsor a Gardening by the Bucket interactive class on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10 am. There will also be a special presentation on how to grow mushrooms. The class will be taught in the FOLWCC parking lot near our community garden & lead by our own FOWCC volunteer, Abasi Brown and UE 150/BWFJ expert gardening enthusiast, Ciscero Warren! When we are finished, your portable “bucket garden” will be planted and you’ll be on the road to providing healthy food for your family and yourself!

This beginning gardening project and program will show those, who have very little knowledge about and experience with growing their own healthy food, the basics of how to do so economically, using natural pesticides and fertilizers.

  • Gardening by the Bucket will show beginners how to grow food in portable buckets or other containers they have laying around (baskets, cans, etc.). These containers are portable and can be moved to various locations during the season to maximize sunlight and prolong plant growing seasons.

Supplies you should bring with you:

  • At least one 5-gallon bucket (food grade – not one that has had gasoline, solvents or cleaning chemicals in them), plastic tubs, lined baskets, ceramic pots, etc. If you must buy one, try places like Dollar Tree or Home Depot. You may be able to get free buckets from bakeries or delis.
  • Gardening gloves (if you want to keep dirt in your nails and potential calluses to a minimum)
  • Any special seedlings that you definitely want to plant. We will have some seedlings for the project, but feel free to bring more or your own.

We’ll have additional supplies on site.

To help us plan for success, call 919-876-7187 or email: ciscerot@bellsouth.net or nlmayo5@yahoo.com to let us know you are interested and will be present!

Black History Facts:
National Black Poetry Day is October 17th! The day was initially originated in 1970 and officially established in 1985 by Oregon as a day to honor past, present (and future) Black poets, and to celebrate the importance of Black heritage and literacy along with the contributions made by Black poets and writers. The day is in honor of Jupiter Hammon, considered the first published Black poet in the United States. He was born October 17, 1711, in Long Island, NY.
The day was first proposed by public library director Stanley A. Ransom in 1970 (in New York) and in 1985 with a bill introduced to recognize the day as a state holiday (in Oregon). In 2019, an official site (blackpoetryday.org) spearheaded in Arizona has been established to highlight activities and events honoring the day, and to encourage national participation.
“GENERAL TUBMAN” DECIDED TO
DESTROY SLAVE THE SYSTEM

“GENERAL TUBMAN” DECIDED TO DESTROY SLAVE THE SYSTEM AFTER FELLOW ENSLAVED AFRICANS WERE MOSTLY DELUDED, IN DENIAL… BRAINWASHED TO BELIEVE THAT THEY WERE FREE AFRICANS AT THE HEIGHT OF COLONIAL CHATTEL SLAVERY IN THE USA.

HARRIET TUBMAN started and led the American Civil War with African Nationalist Rev. H. Garnett & the great freedom fighter John Brown. SHE also served bravely as the foremost Warrior Goddess of the passage, path, or “railroad” for Africans to escape to Africa and “free” states. Additionally, she served as an ultimate Warrior who fought for Africans during the American Civil War/The Real American Revolution.

Though her famous friend Frederick Douglass helped to mobilize Africans to participate in the Civil War, the famous abolitionist was against the plan hatched mainly by Garnett, Brown & Tubman for total warfare. As widely articulated by Rev. Garnett our mission is for Africans to destroy the Slave system and return to Africa. Garnett stressed this at major meetings to Douglass and other Black leaders and that the leadership talked too much but did too little to free Africans.

Thus, the great war to end chattel slavery was mainly planned by the Trio for African freedom in the USA and was organized into three major phases: First, in key meetings and conventions of the 19th century to recruit like minds, the powerful Rev. Garnett explained to the Black and White abolitionists across the USA of the original vision of African Ancestors to destroy the Slave system and return to Africa. This point was insisted on by Garnett to garner support from the popular Douglass and even by taking a pan African mission to meet with the leadership of Jamaica and Ayiti to recruit those with special skills, resources and passion for Black freedom. Second, Tubman, Garnett and Brown and others then developed a clear plan of attack to start the war… targeting the military camp at Harpers Ferry using White and Black Freedom Fighters. The strike by the freedom fighters led by Brown shook and shocked the Southern slavers in fear. Perplexed that the abolitionists based in the North had established an army to conquer the southern slave system, these then overreacted by attacking the Northern white colonial cabal center plunging the USA into total war. Finally, Douglass, Tubman and Garnett then led the mobilization of Africans for the war and for freedom. By the time the war was over, Brown was sacrificed with millions, especially Africans to gain “emancipation”.

However, within a decade after that successful war, the White Supremacists regrouped with their northern cabal of Slavers to attack Africans again terrorizing Africans in another form of slavery. This time colluded with the global Cabal of Slavers mainly based in their Homeland Europe for the Pan European 1885 Berlin Conference for the total war on Africa, for All Africans to be colonized forever into slavery. Indeed, besieged by KKK terror war on Africans in the USA and across Africa, it was those like Dr. Blyden, Bishop Turner, Dr. Delaney… who again reminded Africans of the Garnett plan to return Home to Africa for the final stand to defeat a relentless White Supremacy system of Slavery. The Blyden push for Africa led to repatriations and the first Pan African Congress of 1900.

By the time of Garvey's arrival in the USA, Africans, especially the leadership were besieged and beaten again into submission, for all Africans to be brainwashed to be Americanized… be forever slaves in service of America. Garvey doubled down against this agenda thus becoming the major force to fully revive the original plan of Garnett, Blyden, Delaney, etc. for pan-African Nationalism. Those like Kwame Nkrumah and others continued this work for what Garvey insisted on as a mission for our Pan African Government that can Protect, Promote and Power Africans.

Be clear, the cabal of slavers who enslaved our people during Queen Harriet Tubman are still locked step in their forever war with major fronts focused against Africa, China and Russia, in a desperate dash to recolonize Africa to remain Forever Slavers.

FAMILY, IN 2022, THE SLAVERS ARE AGAIN IN A DESPERATE DASH TO RECOLONIZE AFRICA AND THIS TIME THESE ARE BOLSTERED BY A HIGHLY BRAINWASHED BLACK ELITE OF BETRAYERS (WHO ALSO BELIEVE THEY ARE FREE) TO HELP SPEARHEAD THEIR WAR TO FINALLY CONQUER AFRICA FOR WHITE SUPREMACY TO REIGN FOR CENTURIES TO COME. AFRICANS, WE MUST RESIST BY JOINING THE CAMPAIGN TO REVIVE OUR PAN AFRICAN GOVERNMENT NOW… 2024
