The Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) has been supporting the contaminated land and groundwater industry and the professionals working in the sector for more than 15 years. The association is proud to have grown to well over 2000 members across Australia and New Zealand. ALGA has 10 Specialist Interest Groups and 16 geographical branches across Australasia, which are well respected for their work in improving industry performance, policy, and practice. The overarching goal of ALGA is to collectively improve the sustainable management of contaminated land and groundwater through working together with our members, partners, governments, and like-minded industry associations.
Recently, ALGA and ITRC ran a highly successful PFAS workshop together. This event offered both ITRC and ALGA members an opportunity to hear from both local and international professionals on the future of regulation and PFAS. ALGA sees great value in collaborating with ITRC and is excited to continue to grow the relationship through further collaboration in 2023.
Visit ALGA's Website to join as a member or to register for one of ALGA's events, webinars, or training opportunities.
Looking ahead, ITRC and ALGA are excited to continue partnering to deliver high-quality International Workshops on vital emerging issues like PFAS and Microplastics. In April 2023, ITRC and ALGA will be hosting a PFAS training in Sydney, Australia. Concurrent with ITRC’s Annual Meeting in March 2023, ITRC and ALGA will be hosting a Microplastics Workshop that will include NICOLE, a European Industry partner. Stay tuned for more details!
