Combatting Decision Fatigue through Great Meeting Design
It feels like every decision is a hard decision right now. Virtual meetings don't leave us feeling like we are making much progress either. In this session we will discuss practical ideas and tactics to use in the virtual workplace to reduce the complexity of decision making, while ensuring people know their roles and responsibilities. The learnings will be helpful in our current virtual world, as well as a future world where we can meet in person once again.

Will you take this survey, please?
The goal is to get 3000 responses from people across the state.
United Ways of Iowa launching a survey to better understand the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery on individual Iowa households.
The findings will help United Ways of Iowa and local United Way organizations better support Iowa families through long-term recovery and beyond.
The survey is to be taken by individuals who are willing to share with us their household's experiences in the last six months. We estimate the survey will take 10 minutes or less to complete and participants can enter a drawing to win one of ten $50 gifts cards from their choice of HyVee, Fareway, Casey's or Walmart. Respondents can also choose to remain anonymous. The survey link will be open until October 16th.
When you come network with the GrantWriting Power Hour group, plan to spend time talking about your organization, sharing samples of grant funded projects, discuss major funders, etc., and any project ideas that could be a collaboration with other members.
