As we enjoy a gorgeous fall afternoon, Mr. Slowey, with his shy smile and easy demeanor, shares his eagerness in touching as many lives as possible with the truth and beauty of classical education and what it means to him at his core.
“Children are natural philosophers,” the Humane Letters and Rhetoric teacher quips, “they are attuned to the spirit of looking for the answer behind the answer. They have less presuppositions and assumptions and their minds are more plastic, more open to new ideas and new paradigms.
