Infrastructure Improvements Fund Referendum Update
At the Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors meeting held on Thursday, January 28, the CSA Board Chairman announced an update concerning the voting for the Infrastructure Improvements Referendum. While our auditor has not completed all of its internal steps necessary to certify the results as “official”, they have authorized CSA to announce the following “unofficial” final vote tallies: Of the 5,351 ballots mailed to Participating Property Owners, 75.6% ballots were returned to the auditor. Of the ballots returned, 87.77% voted yes in favor of the Fifth Amendment, while 12.23% voted no.

Sea Pines CSA Relative & Commercial 2021 Annual Decals Due by 2/1/2021
ATTENTION: PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A DECAL RENEWAL APPLICATION IF YOU ARE A PROPERTY OWNER. THE BELOW MESSAGE APPLIES TO ANNUAL PASS DECALS, ONLY.

The Sea Pines CSA Office is accepting annual pass decal applications for 2021. To apply for Sea Pines Annual Passes please visit www.seapinesliving.com/request. The CSA Office Administration is open by appointment only. Staff will notify each business/individual via phone when the 2021 decal(s) are ready for pickup. Due to high demand, please allow 3-5 business days for staff to get in touch to schedule your pickup appointment.

North Sea Pines Drive Improvement Project
Phase 1 includes stormwater repairs, leisure trail reconstruction,  roadway realignment, tree work, and restriping of the roadway between Lighthouse Road and Red Cardinal Road. (Pictured: Tree Trimming along N Sea Pines Drive)

  • Tree work, storm drainage repairs, and road reconstruction are in progress. Flag persons will be present to control traffic, as needed.
  • Work will be performed Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Weekend work may be necessary but will be communicated in advance.
  • Motorists should expect traffic delays. The project area is considered an active work zone. Please use caution while driving in this area. To avoid the project area, please use the main gate located on Greenwood Drive.

Sea Pines CSA to Conduct Storm Water Ditch Cleaning throughout the community. Work to begin 1st week in February
Ditch clean out work will begin along Baynard Cove Road and portions of Governors Road the week 1st week in February, weather permitting. Intermittent road closures or detours may be necessary, and flagmen will be present to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should use caution in these designated work zones.

Sea Pines ARB Plants Live Oaks Along Plantation Drive
This week, a contractor of the Sea Pines ARB planted 10 live oaks along Plantation Drive, between the roadway and the leisure trail in proximity to the Lawton Stables. The funds to plant the new trees came from contributions made to the Sea Pines ARB tree fund. When a tree removal request is submitted, the applicant may either agree to plant a new tree or donate to the Sea Pines ARB tree fund.

Sea Pines CSA 2021 Annual Assessment Information

Thank you to all property owners that have remitted their 2021 Annual Assessments on time. The Finance Department will begin assessing late fees to overdue balances on Monday, February 1, 2021. If you need a copy of your invoice and/or instructions on how to pay your assessment, please e-mail Tracey McNeill traceym@csaseapines.com. Overdue balances are subject to additional late fees and finance charges, please make your payment as soon as possible to avoid any further charges.
Sea Pines CSA & The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Announces New Committee
The Sea Pines Forest Preserve is one of the most significant amenities available to our property owners and guests in our community. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is responsible for the management and oversight of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. To assist the Foundation's Board of Trustees and Sea Pines CSA in their responsibilities, we are creating a new committee of property owners that will provide advice on matters concerning and expanding on the use, maintenance and potential improvements to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.  

If you are interested in serving on this new Committee, you may apply by completing an application which can be found here. Please submit your committee volunteer application via email to sandra@csaseapines.com or deliver/mail it to Community Services Associates, Inc. 175 Greenwood Dr. Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 by February 10, 2021.
Successful Red Cross Community Blood Drive
Thank you to all of the donors who came out to the Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, January 21st. The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components and each pint of blood can save more than one life. Their goal was to collect 24 pints of blood and our community donated 28 pints! Thank you again to our generous volunteer donors!

The Town of Hilton Head To Replace Failed Drainage Pipe In Proximity to Genoa Court and Mizzenmast Court
The Town of Hilton Head Island's Contractor will be conducting drainage failure repair work beginning the week of February 1st in proximity to Genoa Court and Mizzenmast Court. This work will be conducted within existing CSA drainage easements and road rights-of-ways and is expected to take approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting. Please use caution while driving, walking, or biking near the work zone. We look forward to sharing more details as they become available.
