In this email: Full CoC Meeting Debrief

Thank you to all that attended the Full CoC Membership Meeting!

On December 1, 2022 the Full Membership of the Missouri Balance of State came together! Here are notable highlights from the meeting:

The membership of the CoC ratified the Board's decision to update the MO BoS CoC's Governance Charter.

Notable changes are:

Additional official standing committees including: CoC Policy & Planning, Youth Services, Veteran Service, Victim Services, Racial and Gender Inequities and Youth Action Board. 11 total committees of the CoC.
Additions to the expectations of members on the Board of Directors
Adding Action Without A Meeting option when the Board is unable to meet on short notice with time sensitive issues.

The CoC voted and the following candidates were elected and accepted the seat as At-Large Board members of the MO BoS CoC. At-Large Board members represent multiple regions and populations within the MO BoS CoC's communities. The expertise of these individuals will provide the Board with ideas, opinions, and knowledge the CoC needs.

Breita Church, SOAR Case manager of Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri provided a short training about the SOAR program and access to other mainstream benefits! Stay tuned for additional online training to follow up her presentation.

The Point in Time Count 2023

The Lead Agency has been working with the elected Regional Coordinators and the Point in Time Count Committee. The Point In Time Count will take place on January 25 @ 5pm to January 26 @ 7am. Call For Membership Renewal!

The CoC requires annual renewal of membership! Please complete the Membership form for your 2023 membership as soon as possible. If you have not updated your membership since October of 2022, complete the form to ensure your organization's membership with the CoC.
