To the First Church Christian Outreach and Service Committee:
I wanted to send you all a heartfelt and huge THANK YOU for your donation to the Oberlin Kids Scholarship Fund. Your $500 is providing a hard-working, single mother and her lovely 4-year old daughter with 2 months of tuition assistance at Kendal Early Learning Center.
You are so appreciated!

I am looking for a few volunteers to help in the office on an 'as needed' basis. Times will most often be scheduled on Fridays, either between 10am-noon, or 1:30-3:30pm. I will also be present in the office. I have put dates on the First Church calendar through March, that are waiting for folks to choose from. Most tasks will consist of filing, answering the phone, helping with mailings, and a few other items. If you are interested, check out the calendar by using the link at the bottom of the enews and then EMAIL me to let me know what date and time you would like to help with. Thank you! - Diana Pierson

Our Sunday School curriculum this Winter and Spring will be focusing on the stories of our ancestors in the Old Testament. This week's activities are about Noah and the Rainbow.
We understand that our current Sunday School schedule and format may not work for every family. If you would like to pursue faith activities at home with your kids, we invite you to explore this free resource from Illustrated Ministry, which will tie in with the Worship readings for each week. This week's topic is Psalm 139.

5th - 12th Grade Sunday School - New Time
The Sunday School class for grades 5-12 will be moving to a new time temporarily, to avoid a conflict with extracurricular activities.
We'll be meeting at this time until at least mid February - and perhaps longer, if it works well for all of us! Please join us on Sundays at 11:30 am.
This Sunday's session is called "Noah: The Obedient Eccentric."
