A Message from Maestro Pasquale Valerio

Dear friends and patrons,

For our next concert, we will perform three marvelous masterpieces by Felix Mendelssohn.

Before Felix Mendelssohn, no composer had succeeded in expressing the joyful and elegant aspect of German Romanticism. Above all during his youthful years, Mendelssohn was an artistic child prodigy composing concertos and symphonies.

In addition to performing his Concerto In E minor for violin and orchestra, Renowned Violinist Fabrizio Falasca will be leading the VPO string section for a performance of the Scottish Symphony.
