$14,000 in Gift Pleasanton eGift Cards
Purchased During the 2022 Holiday Season
The City of Pleasanton would like to Thank You! Shoppers and gift givers came out to support Pleasanton small businesses by purchasing Gift Pleasanton eGift cards during a special holiday promotion aimed to keep spending and dollars in Pleasanton. The promotion kicked off in November on Black Friday, the day between Thanksgiving and Small Business Saturday and ran through the end of year.

City-sponsored bonus eGift cards ranging from $10 to $40 were given with the purchase of gift cards. Over 220 eGift cards were purchased, totaling about $14,000 during the promotion period! For every dollar spent at a local establishment, approximately 53 cents is recirculated at a locally owned retailer and 64 cents at a locally owned restaurant; these figures are based on local multiplier case studies. These dollars reinvigorate the local economy and support jobs in our community!

Let's continue to Shop Small and Support Local in 2023! If your business has not signed up to accept Gift Pleasanton eGift cards, register here. Gift Pleasanton eGift cards can be purchased at www.inPleasanton.com. If you have any questions regarding Gift Pleasanton, email econdev@cityofpleasantonca.gov.

Pleasanton 2025 Forum
Next meeting set for February
Pleasanton 2025 Forums are a monthly meeting, open to everyone in the community, and held in a hybrid format.

Pleasanton is widely recognized as a premier community in which to live, work and do business. The business climate is a key driver of the community's success. Pleasanton businesses generate roughly 55% of the local tax base and collectively act as the community's economic engine.

The Chamber relies on Pleasanton 2025: A Community Vision as its local public policy agenda, committing volunteer and staff time to work toward its fulfillment as a catalyst, convener and champion for all things Pleasanton.

Every second Wednesday of the month at 12:00 noon, the Pleasanton Chamber brings stakeholders together to focus community resources, time and talent to achieve greater understanding of issues, obstacles and opportunities related to Pleasanton 2025: A Community Vision.

There will not be a 2025 Forum meeting for January. The next meeting will take place in February.
