HomeFront provides housing to 300+ children and families, offers essentials (fresh produce, canned goods, cleaning and school supplies), promotes budget-friendly family recipes and hosts virtual and outdoor wellness events. Partners include: Pennington Presbyterian Church, Fox & Roach, Step for a Better World, Berkshire Hathaway, Girl Scout Troop 70054, Amazon, PSEG and more.

“We are hoping that we can still provide a forum for discussing ways to make feeding a family healthy meals easier and more affordable. Our teachers are also planning to discuss strategies for incorporating canned food and other items often available from food pantries into a healthy weekly menu.”

Jets and Atlantic Health System to Fight Pediatric Cancer as Part of the the "Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer" Campaign

The New York Jets and Atlantic Health System are continuing their fight against pediatric cancer as part of the NFL and American Cancer Society's “Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer” campaign.
Prior to kickoff at the Jets October 1 game, four children who are undergoing or have completed treatment at the Valerie Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital, part of Atlantic Health System, were recognized as virtual honorary captains. Jets Defensive Back and Captain, Matthias Farley, surprised Andrew, Eli, Sammy and Aidan with this honor during a virtual visit on September 25. Next season the Jets will also host Andrew, Eli, Sammy and Aidan in person as honorary captains for a game at MetLife Stadium. COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Fund: Phase II
Funder: Princeton Area Community Foundation
Applications are now being accepted for COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Phase 2 Grants. In the first round of funding, over $1 million was awarded to more than 50 nonprofits, working to feed families, prevent evictions and provide mental health and social services to those in need in our region. Nonprofits that received Phase 1 funding may also apply for Phase II grants. Phase II grants will continue to support immediate community needs, such as food, rental assistance and social services. Grants will also be awarded to nonprofits that seek to strengthen operations and service delivery, and to build their capacity.

Neighborhood Preservation COVID-19 Relief Program
Funder: NJ Department of Community Affairs
The Neighborhood Preservation (NPP) COVID-19 Relief Program will provide $2.6 million in grant funding to municipalities with NPP plans for eligible COVID-19 response activities, including limited funding for local program administrative costs. Funds will only be allocated to municipalities with current approved NPP Implementation Plans through the local government or the NPP partner nonprofit that propose eligible COVID-19 response activities.

Main Street New Jersey COVID-19 Relief Program
Funder: NJ Department of Community Affairs
The Main Street New Jersey (MSNJ) COVID-19 Relief Program will provide $1.6 million in grant funds to fund eligible COVID-19 recovery activities and costs. All activities must occur within the boundaries of the designated MSNJ district.

Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit COVID-19 Relief Program
Funder: NJ Department of Community Affairs
The Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) COVID-19 Relief Program will provide $3.1 million to organizations with NRTC neighborhood plans for eligible coronavirus response activities and costs. Nonprofit organizations with approved NRTC plans as of the FY20 application cycle that submit complete applications and that propose eligible COVID-19 response activities are eligible to apply.

New Jersey AmeriCorps Competitive Notice of Funding Opportunity
Funder: New Jersey Commission on National and Community Service
Through this AmeriCorps Competitive Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the New Jersey Commission on National and Community Service seeks submission of applications that demonstrate that they will engage AmeriCorps members in an evidence-informed and evidence-based approach to providing a service intervention that will result in intended solutions to community problems.

2020-2021 NJEA Grant Cycle
Funder: Sustainable Jersey (underwriter: NJEA)
The NJEA grant cycle offers ten $10,000 district or school project grants and forty $2,000 school green team grants. The funding supports efforts to implement projects that help participating schools make progress toward a sustainable future and gain points needed for Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification.
