One Last Sunday...
This is our last week of only live-streaming worship before our summer worship schedule of services begins! (You can see all of the details below).
So many preparations have been underway so that we can gather safely, joyfully, and with both in-person and online options. Staff and volunteers have been readying sanctuary, community room, and youth room too, making sure everything is prepared. The band had their first in-person rehearsal together in the courtyard last Sunday, and sounded amazing! We are and will continue to learn much as we try new things for hybrid forms of ministry in our present day. God is good, and gracious, and walking with us as we enter a new season of life and ministry together. I am praying for you, for our church, for our neighbors in OB and beyond, that we might grow together in faith, hope, love as we experience the changes and opportunities ahead. Looking forward to connecting with you online this Sunday!
Blessings,
Jessica

OB Vibe Walk
Saturday, June 26 | 9 AM | Start at OB Campus
Summer is arriving soon and so are new opportunities for getting back together in and around the community of Ocean Beach. Last month a group from Water's Edge 'hiked the hills' of Ocean Beach. This month there is another fun opportunity to connect and re-connect by walking together around OB during the 'Celebrate the OB Vibe' community event. We will start at the Water's Edge church building (parking available), and walk 5k through the beautiful surrounding OB neighborhood, ending up back at the church, with the option to continue the fun by enjoying the community event down on Newport avenue afterward.

Pastor's Bible Study: "Pastoral Epistles"
Sundays through June 13 | 8 AM | Via Zoom
Please join us for a Bible Study via Zoom focusing on the 'Pastoral Epistles' - 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus. As the church began to settle more over time, early church leaders were in need of guidance for new situations. We face new situations in our day too, with lots of changes as we begin to emerge from this time of pandemic, and gather together in hybrid ways, in-person and continuing online. We will look at the historical context of these biblical letters, and ask, what might God be saying to us today?
