FILAMCCO'S RIZAL DAY VIRTUAL CELEBRATION GARNERS FAVORABLE VIEWS

For an initial attempt to stage a first virtual event online by a small group of neophytes was not altogether a misstep. Filamcco's Rizal Day Celebration drew considerable attention from You Tube and Face Book viewers on December 30, 2020. And to this time continues to do so. The committee comprised of 7 members learned the ropes of doing some form of digital technology the hard way but can claim ownership to their own personal resourcefulness to find the way . APACC's global supplier diversity matchmaking event attracts nearly 350 attendees including more than 50 Corporate buyers who will meet virtually with minority business owners (W/MBEs) for specific procurement needs.
 
One on One Business Connection Networking
One on One networking provides attendees the opportunity to participate in random interactions. Much like speed networking, this is a great tool to mingle. Networkers will be matched with other attendees and have the opportunities to create business connections.
 
Exhibit Booths
Attendees can enter booths and interact live through videos with exhibitors as well as through text chat, all controlled by the exhibitors. Exhibitors can embed rich content into their booths including videos from YouTube or Vimeo, social media links, websites, and more.
 
All paid attendees will receive a copy of our Lexicon which contains the company and contact information of all event participants.

APIA Scholarship

PNAM donated face shields and visors to Maple Manor of Novi and to Four Seasons Nursing and Rehab Center. We also conducted virtual Seminar on Dementia and Brain Health to our Filipino Senior Citizens.
Futures for Frontliners
The state of Michigan has announced a scholarship program for Michigan residents called Futures for Frontliners, a state scholarship program for Michiganders without college degrees who worked in essential industries during the state COVID-19 shutdown in spring 2020 (April 1 – June 30). This scholarship provides these frontline workers with tuition-free access to local community college to pursue an associate degree or a skills certificate, either full-time or part-time while you work.
