MEET THE TEAM :: Jeyssa Mast
Corporate Recruiter
Joining the 8-koi team as corporate recruiter in January, Jeyssa Mast brings with her seasoned corporate experience and professional networks. More importantly she’s known for her reliability, follow through and helping new comers ease into the 8-koi culture – finding just the right match for the opportunity.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jeyssa moved to Orlando in 1994. She came to learn English and stayed to begin her college career. Later she returned to Puerto Rico to care for a loved one, all while completing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management and almost completing a bachelor’s in Commercial Law. Those uncompleted classes still call her name to return and earn that second bachelor’s degree.

She’s been back in the states since 2004 and now has two children, Jaden and Jalie, and recently married Pilot Eric Mast. The two wed at her favorite architectural structure, the dreamy Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Together the family attends church, supporting their neighbors, helping others along their career journey and valuing education.

“For if you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners to be corrupted from their infancy, and then punish them for those crimes to which their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded from this, but that you first make thieves and then punish them.” ― Sir Thomas More, Utopia

MLK Day of Service is Monday, January 18, 2021.
“Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” - Martin Luther King Jr.

MLK Day marks the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service. All Americans are encouraged to volunteer to improve their community. Here's how.
