We are so blessed to have such a wonderful Christ-Loving Community, and we give thanks to God for you.
Many of you have been sharing what you have done together as families in your homes to keep are teachings and traditions alive and present.
If you would like to share your pictures with us so we can post them on our parish website, please do so by emailing Father William at his
church email account, and he will post them so you can see them, be relieved, and inspired by everyone's creativity.
So if you have pictures making your own palms, dyeing your Pascha Eggs Blood Red, censing your house, preparing your prayer corner, decorating and displaying your Icons, please feel free to share with everyone on our website.
Of course, on the Great Day of Pascha, share your lighted candles, your cracking of the eggs, eating the sourekia and kourourakia, and serving and enjoying the Paschal Lamb and Feast. In this way, we all know we are safe and well, and we are keeping our Faith alive and vibrant as we pass our Faith on together to our children.
Again, please be safe, vigilant, and careful. It is still not safe or wise to congregate and share or send items. We are getting close to getting over this. Let us be like the wise virgins and be prudent and prepared, knowing that the true Feast of Feasts in the Bliss of the Bridal Chamber is assured for those who have Faith, keep It, and pass It on.
As the Angel of Death passed over the People of Israel, His Holy People of God, and delivered them from slavery, suffering, and Death, so this virus will pass over us and deliver us, His New Israel, His New Nation, His New People of God. For we have the Faith of Abraham as his spiritual descendants and we are all children of God through Christ.
