Diocesan News
The Standing Committee has called Bishop Chilton Knudsen to serve as assisting bishop, while Bishop-elect, Paula Clark continues her recovery from a cerebral brain bleed in April. Bishop Knudsen began her ordained ministry in Chicago in 1980, and since her retirement, she has served as interim or assisting bishop in several other dioceses, most recently in the Diocese of Washington, where she worked with our bishop-elect. Please see the Diocesan website to read the letter from the Standing Committee.
Our exciting summer partnership with the Raue continues this Saturday, with a performance by Classical/Blues pioneer, Corky Siegel, and jazz legend and Grammy-winner, Ernie Watts, at 7:00 p.m. This event has sold out!
